I have it on GOOD authority that Los Chanares is THE place to hunt doves in Argentina.
Have fun.

h kittleIf you have not gone too far in the planning process. You might check out H and H Outfitters. I know Zeke Hayes personally and he is a fine fellow. H and H operates several lodges in the Cordoba Area. He books direct or you can book him through Trek Safarias.
Be prepared to shoot. The last time I hunted with Zeke we killed over 26,000 birds and shot over 42,000 shells.

aliveinccThanks guys. I went in 2007 and had a great trip. I put together the last trip and we may use the same folks as last time. Just studying our options.

Jungleboyaliveincc,
Los Chanares is a fabulous place to go. I hunted there this Feb/Mar 2011 & it
went beyond all my expectations. The meals are unbelievable & the lodge is excellent.
Obviously though, the best part is the dove shooting, if you haven't been there
you really can't explain the volume of doves you will see. You can shoot nothing
but 30-40 yard, right to left crossing shots all morning & then work on going-
away shots in the afternoon if you want. The longest drive from the lodge to
your stand is 15 minutes. You can come back to the lodge anytime, hang out at
the pool, take a siesta in your room or in a hammock. They will treat you
like a king! We are already trying to decide when to go back. Have a great time.

larryshoresI have been 6 times. I am going for my 7th in July. It is a fantastic place. Great lodging and food. Fantastic shooting. Super nice, hard working people. They have a gun smith there (martin). I will be happy to answer any questions on Los Chanares.
I shoot 1,000 rounds in the morning and stop. I shoot 1,000 rounds in the afternoon and quit. I could shoot far more but my body can't take it.

JungleboyI will try to post the link to Los Chanares web site below for anyone interested.
I booked my hunt with Dick Kennerknecht @ Global Sporting Safaris. They were
very helpful.
