I am flying home tonight with the stags Clara and I killed last year. They were hanging in my Buenos Aires office for awhile. Federico Testa did the red tape for me and I will definitely use him in the future. He even had them packed for my flight.

juanpozziHes the best trophy exporter in the country althoug taxidermists and permits are for my taste a bit expensive.

MonkeyhunterThat's comforting to know because Federico was highly recommended by Raul Angaroni, my Argentinian taxidermist. He will take care of shipping my Red Stag and Black Buck, taken recently at the Las Molles Farm, by air freight all the way to Cebu City in the Philippines.

Mikey49009I’ve hunted big game in Argentina for many years and have met a lot of hunters during my travels there. For every one of them that had something positive to say about Testa I can point to ten who would have the opposite opinion.
The first ranch that I hunted at many years ago used Testa as their export broker and I still haven’t gotten my trophy back yet.
I’ve since used several different exporters and have finally found one that is knowledgeable and professional in their dealings with customers. The process is still time consuming and costly, but now I know that I’m going to get my trophies back in good shape and in a reasonable time frame.

DoglegWhen we hunted Argentina a couple years ago, we priced out the export costs and decided to leave everything there.South American hunts get real cheap when only one outfit is makeing money off you, and wall space is getting short anyway. Then there's the taxidermist who doesn't have to get paid.
We spent the saveing on more trophy fees, then left those ones too. The ranch was surprised that someone would want to do that, but quickly realised that it was better for them. Two Americans that were there at the same time adopted the same plan. Pictures travel light.
We are also working all clients with Proar company since 2010.
So far we have managed to lower costs and improve ETA timing to US and EU. Process used to be time & $$$ comsuming but this is something from the past. Most of our 2012 March and April trophyies n capes are at destination by now which is a relief for us cause as u may know, capes should not be stored for long period after the salting procces.

Mike SmithMostly I think people want to know rough estimates of the costs of exporting animals. Shipping of course varies by destination but should still be able to be estimated to some degree. So lets say pick a couple of ports of entry and a few typical trophies and break it down for us if you would.
When we were there several years ago the price to export a red stag was somewhere between ridiculous and outrageous. As such no one brought anything back.

daniel745My daughter and I hunted Argentina several years ago. If I remember correctly the bill for getting 1 stag-1 fallow-1 axis (horns and hides only), to Miami, was something north of $3,000. I'll not return.
