Is 308 winchester permitted in Argentina?

AfrikaanderOf course ... is by far the most common cartridge used here, plenty of ammo available (perhaps together with the 22LR the only two rifle cartridges that can be easily found almost everywhere nowadays in argentina - upto now, since things tend to get worse every day with this lefty government

billinthewildMy little .308 has become one of my favorite rifles. It is a Remington Model 7 KS. And for that reason I truly like the .308. This rifle is not super accurate, perhaps 1.5 inches at 100 yards. But it is light, easy to carry, and has never failed me. I favor the 165 grain bullet, but will soon be testing some 150 grain Barnes. I cannot think of any game in Argentina that could not be taken with this cartridge, including the Buffalo with a good bullet and a well placed shot. And, as Afrikaander has said, you can find ammunition almost anywhere.
