mominerMG HUNTING - Marcelo Gil
I was the winning bidder at a SCI Dinner for a Stag hunt with MG Hunting. Anybody have any experience with them? Let me know?

mominerI answered my own question. Reurned two weeks ago from the hunt I had questions about. I can say nothing but good about MG Hunting. Mr. gill had donated a number of hunts to SCI and the Houston Safari club. The hunt went off with out a hitch. Very well organized. The only problem is that they existed on Spanish hunters, since the ecomony went south in Spain, they now are seeking more gringos for their operations. Therefore, their english is somewhat limited. I spent 5 days on a 9000 acre operation about 20 clicks NW of Gen. Ancha (La Pampa, 1 1/2 out of Santa Rosa) At the apex of the roar. Saw very shootable stag the first hour of the first day. I held out till the third day, then shoot my first stag. Shot a second one the next day. I didn't realize how thick the bush was. Reminded me of being in the Limpopo. I took a Ruger #1 in .300 Win Mag. Wish I took my little Rem 673 .350 Rem Mag or my Sako 9.3x62. Thick stuff. Fun! Simple hunting, step outside the very nice lodge in the morning, listen of the deepest roar. Find it. Then watch for the Hinds as you get close. There is Asian Buff on a neighbor ranch. My lodge mate hunted and shot 2 Stag, one Asian Buff, a Black Buck and an Puma. in 5 days. I added on 5 more days, shoot feedlot pigeons for three days from the same lodge. Then drove back towards BA, shot ducks for 2 days.
Sounds like a great hunt.
