THE yarara is a common snake in Argentina that has a venoum hemotoxic and local necrotizing .
Its a very interesting snake no so agressive .

tHE YARARA looks more like a puff adder it isnt a rattle snake the venoum is hemotoxic and produces local necrosis.
There are some accidents every year but most of them in the provinces of the north of Argentina.
Im a paramedic under DrPOZZIZURBRIGGEN orders and i see some bites specially in hunters and Juans father have one of his spaniels bited .

There are actually 3 different species of "yarara"
(Bothrops)in the Cordoba area : B alternata (Yarara grande),B diporus (yarara chica) & B ammodytoides (Yarara nata). Together whith the tropical rattlesnake (Crotalus durissus) & the coral snake (Micrurus pyrrhocryptus)makes it 5 different snakes to look out for while hunting there...
