Recommendations for Bird Hunting in Argentina
Does anyone have any first hand experience or recommendations for wingshooting in Argentina?

Any info on good areas or outfitters are appreciated. Any thoughts on the best duration of the shoot? I understand the shooting is good all year round?

What is best for shooting there- 12 gauge- 20? 28? semi auto?

Thank you

12 gauge is the most commonly used down here, perfectly adecuate for any "feather shooting" intended ... ducks and geese have their own special season, doves can be shot all year round (aswell as parrots Mad !!)

404,

You might try David Denies. Can't speak for duck but doves are awesome as is the food and hospitality. Try www.daviddenies.com, either lodge for doves is awesome.

i had a "blast" with luis sier - sier safaris. just did ducks, but he has places to do ducks, geese, doves, pigeons, grouse or combinations. I used a 28 ga. that wall all that was needed since shooting was 15-20 yards. Doves especially you don't want a 12 on. To much shooting for that heavy a recoil

John at Sporting Destinations has super bird and big game hunting. I have hunted with him 2 times and the food and accomodations were excellent as well as the hunting.
