First Date Green Beans
This is one I used to make for the ladies when I was single.

2- cans long cut greenbeans
1 lb.- Bacon (leaner the better)
Brown sugar

Preheat oven to 350

Drain greenbeans

Cut bacon slices in half across the lenght, then again along the lenght of the halves. You should wind up with four 1/2"X4" pieces per slice of bacon

Spray non-stick on a basting pan (slotted top with pan underneath for drippings.)

Take 3 or 4 greenbeans and 1/4 wrap with a peice of bacon. This means bacon should overlap itself by 1/4". Set on pan with tail of bacon strip down. This keeps it from unwrapping itself. Repeat this process until out of greenbeans.

Sprinkle liberally with brown sugar. The more the better as most of it will drizzle off as cooking.

Bake until bacon is golden brown.

Don't worry about leftovers,,,there won't be any. I've had jewish folks go back for seconds.

Hope it came across clear. If you have any questions, just ask.
