Sorry that this took so long to find. It was really buried in storage.This is an original CHACO Watermelon Borscht recipe and did not give amounts,just the method and ingredients.
Remove the green hard peeling from the watermelon rind.Cut the white part of the rind into small cubes. In a large pot combine meaty soup bones and the rind cubes and water and cook till meat is tender.At the right point add star anise,bay leaves,cilantro, noodles and rice.Continue cooking until done and finish with cream.
