Bill/OregonSmall batch focaccia bread
I tried this King Arthur recipe yesterday and boy, did it turn out great. I added a bit of fresh rosemary from the garden but otherwise followed the directions exactly. Doesn't take much time -- just a bit of attention over a few hours. It's just me, so the small size is perfect. The bread is so incredibly delicious that it would be easy to wolf it down in a couple of minutes. Cut horizontally it would make a spectacular sandwich bread -- may be for the greatest muffuletta of all time.

Bill/OregonAnn, it absolutely was. Next time, I'll bake a full-sized batch.

Norman ConquestI'll bet it doesn't last any longer than the small batch. When it comes hot out of the oven, it's hard to control yourself, especially as you have been smelling it all that time.

Homemade always beats a supermarket.

Bill/OregonI made another small loaf yesterday afternoon to go with Lòpez Alt's Vietnamese American garlic noodles. It was a carb orgy and I should probably get a gym membership if I am going to eat like this!
