Did you ever want to make just a couple of bisquits for yourself?


To make four bisquits:

I use a small cast iron skillet, or a cookie sheet, I preheat the oven, with the skillet in it, to 450. While the oven is heating, mix 1 cup of Bisguik or other bisguit mix with 1/3 cup of milk.This will make a soft dough. When the oven is up to 450, spray the skillet ( or sheet ) with cooking spray and spoon in glops of dough, you should be able to get 4 bisquits. Bake for 11 min ( my oven takes 12 min. ) Put up the coffee and wait!
If you want easy gravy, I found some canned saugage gravy in WalMart. I get about three servings out of a can. You just heat it in the microwave in a small bowl and save the rest for next time.
A neat variation on this is to use "complete" pancake mix and water, makes the same 4 bisquits and is great with butter and honey! Enjoy
