meteEat less meat ??
http://www.sciencedaily.com/vi...a84ca817c48073e3.htmThis "science " keeps rearing it's ugly head !
One of the funniest radio programs was an interview of an Inuit describing the meeting of a French woman who went to the arctic to convince the Inuit to become vegetarians.
Inuit NEED more meat and animal fat to deal with the cold . Other societies also have a high percentage of meat in the diet

lavacaSeriously, if livestock created methane is a serious threat to the environment as Al Gore and the other village idiots think, we should eat the hell out of all herd animals -- but wait, that isn't vegan, it's cruel to animals, it threatens endangered species like cape buffalo and elephants (if they were endangered would they live in a herd?).
We really can't have an intelligent discussion with these people, can we?

Max503Since I've cut down on meat my bp and cholesterol numbers have gone to normal. I've lost 15 pounds. I eat one or two big meat meals a week - pork chops, etc. Otherwise its mostly beans, lentils, veggies, cheese, rice, bread, and pasta. A little chicken and fish too. I must admit the pork chops we had tonite were delicious.
Just because the farmers raise all that meat doesn't mean that I have to eat it.

lindy2and you would probably lose even a little bit more weight if you lightened up on the white rice, white bread, and pasta.

KenscoEat less meat??? You've got to be kidding me. To Hell with all you guys. You can have my Bar-B-Q spare ribs when you take them from my cold, dead hands.
(I think Charlton Heston originally said that.)

vashperArctic marshes (tundra) produce more methane than all other sources of methane on Earth.
By the way, a lot of cholesterol is in cow's milk - despite the fact that cow is a vegetarian at all.

tomahawkerThe fact that we don't get up in the morning and chase breakfast down is the biggest reason for health issues. That statement is twofold. The meat we do eat isn't running for it's life either. Fat cow =fat man.

Max503Don't get me wrong. I love meat. I just don't think it's good for me to eat too much of it. Pinto beans on a corn tortilla with some hot sauce makes a great breakfast.

jdollarespecially if you add a few strips of bacon or shredded beef!

ZekeShikarHey guys! We're hunters and there's enough science to prove that wild meat is way better for your health.
I love all wild animals... whether in the field or on my plate!
