Venetian Panini
Makes 6 sandwiches
Ingredients
8 oz. Gruyere, shredded
2 T butter, softened
2 T Dijon mustard
1 garlic clove, chopped
12 oz. smoked turkey, deli sliced
12 slices of sourdough, crust removed
6 T EVOO
1) In a food processor, add cheese, butter, mustard and garlic. Blend until mixture is thick smooth and spreadable.
2) Spread mixture over one side of each slice of bread. Add turkey and top with another slice.
3) Heat 3 tablespoons of oil over med-low heat. Cook about 4 min. per side. Use remaining 3 tablespoons for 3 more sandwiches. Cut in half and serve.
