Hot Brown

This is a "Hot Brown" If you eat food you should stop reading now.
It is made and eaten from a 10" cast iron skillet. and filled with ("Mmmmm") food.
Get a 10" cast iron skillet, put 3 pieces of toast on the bottom. Put sliced turkey on the toast. The recipe says 7 ounces, 20 works better. Then cover the turkey with ...a white cheese sauce made from scratch (the recipe says half a quart, and that works fine!) (Yes, I can make a white cheese sauce from scratch with Gruyere cheese, and I don't even know what that is...) the recipe then calls for 2 pieces of bacon... I put half a pound on mine, and it looks much better, I'm all about the symmetry and I'm an engineer, suck it up. Cover with grated cheese, I used Gruyere (who knew)
Bake this until it's bubbly, broil until it's brown, eat until you're done, should take about 4 days. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
