Graphite coating buckshot?
Purchased a Sharpshooter 20 ball mold for #00 buckshot and just molded up a couple of pounds. Some old manuals recommended graphite coating the shot if loading it without a full sleeved plastic wad. As the only loads listed in my old Lyman manual all recommend using standard cards and wads, feel inclined to do the coating. Standard lead shot comes graphite coated, but assumed that was for good feed characteristics in production and reloading equipment. To coat or not to coat, that is the question...
