10 ga 2 7/8" reloading
Does anyone make a set of hand tools to reload this to shoot in my nitro proofed 10 ga.I dont shoot it enough to justify a press but I can weigh powder and perhaps theres a dipper for shot.RCBS makes a Cowboy action simple tool buts its only for 12ga.Could be my only option is to get a MEC 10 ga. and get it set up for 2 7/8". Thanks Watchman

i think you can still get the little lee loader for 2 7/8" watch your patters with those short shells, I've never been able to get them to work very well. my patters always came out in clumps

I use my Ponsness Warren 375 for loading 10 ga 2 & 7/8 inch hulls (cut down from 3 & 1/2 inch hulls). I load until crimping and remove cartridge to then roll crimp with my hand drill.
Works well. A press will help resizing fired shotshells also.
