I was looking at some classic sports cars yesterday and it struck me the most obvious difference between cars such as the old E Types and other classic sports cars of that and previous eras compared to the more modern versions is the length of the bonnet or to you ex-colonials

the hood.
Those looooong bonnets/hoods looked just so very elegant and to my eyes at least, the modern versions just don't look right without it.
So do you guys agree and/or what else defines the change between the old days and cars of this modern generation of sports cars?
