Appears most of the big names (aside from trades or extensions) have signed. How do you think your team has done so far?
Cliff Lee to the Phillies
Carl Crawford to the Red Sox
Jayson Werth to the Nationals
Adrian Gonzalez to the Red Sox (extension still being worked out)
Beltre?
I guess the two biggest stories left are:
1. Can the Cards lock up Pujols before spring training? If not does he file free agency at the end of 2011. If he does, you would have to suspect the Mets, Cubs and Dodgers being able to throw the most money at him. I think the Cards should lock up his contract before spring training, because he won't talk about it after that until the season is over.
2. Will the Royals deal Zack Grienke?

Idaho SharpshooterMy Mother will be eighty-three at the end of July. My lovely wife and I are going back for her birthday. Cubs are in town that weekend. We have seats in the BOA Club. Jeez! $450 for three seats inside and the buffet.
that food better be good!

They have one month left to sign Pujols. He's been quoted as saying if the deal does not get done before reporting for spring training, he will not discuss after that and will file for free agency at the end of the season.
This might be what the Angels have been so quite for this off-season. Saving their lunch money to pay Pujols...

strapmanThe Pujols story is not being discussed by either Pujols's agent or the Dewitt family who own the Cardinals (but live in Cinncinati). I'm not holding my breath but Bill Dewitt probably doesn't want to see his 300 million go to Pujols. If he doesn't do the deal the Cardinalnation will hang and burn him in effigy.
