SAFARIKIDJonathan Browning Mountain Rifle 54 Cal ..VALUE?
I have one of these coming,in excellent condition,a wall hanger for what I am told...Great for Moose!...What is realistic value for resale?(I may want to sell it)?
I understand they only made them for a few years, like 1977-81? thanks!
Can't give a dollar value. The rifles were very well made but were 'too expensive' compared to other BP guns available at the time.So they stopped making them. My friend bought two after production ceased from a dealer who didn't know what he had. He then immediately sold one for twice what he paid for !
Another sad story of how people realised how good a product is only after it's no longer made !

375erI have one of those and I can't say enough good things about it! Accurate, well made, and fun to shoot. I might be interested if you want to sell it. They are for sure not wall hangers!

Don EdwardsThose are a pretty decent "mid-level" black powder reproduction rifle. Get that thing down off the wall and learn to shoot ...AND CLEAN it..!!

MopaneMikeVery high quality rifles.. I bought mine back I want to say in 1983.. Midway I believe was selling remaining inventory deeply discounted..
Very accurate BP rifles.. If I remember correctley, barrels were made by Green Mountain Barrel Co.. One if not the best BP barrel makers.
You might give it a go before deciding on selling it.. Although I haven't shot mine in years, it still comes out for the annual cleaning and I would never part with it cause it's such a sweetheart..
