Durable barrel finish
I have a TC Thunderhawk thats I'd like to refinish. What is the best finish to stand up against black powder and pyrodex?

Good ol' bluing holds up just fine. Clean promptly after you finish using the rifle and you'll have no trouble.

A slow-rust BROWN is the best, and also the most correct for any traditional style muzzleloader! I use Laurel Mountain Forge browning solution to finish mine.
