I didn't know the Gemmer Hawken was even a thing until the project was almost done. Funny how things work out.

J.P. Gemmer. Unless my memory has completely failed, which is possible, he took over from the Hawken boys and went until 1912 I believe. That or opened up after they closed...maybe? I better shut up, my memory of that history is blanking out.

Gemmer bought the Hawken business from Samual Hawken in 1862 and operated it intil 1915.
