Hornady SST 45cal Bullets.

Does anyone know the diameter of these bullets?

Somesay the sst and shock waves are different but I get .452 for both using my caliper,don't have a mike.

50 cal sabot 300 grain with a 45 cal. bullet is .452 diameter

The ones i'm looking for are the Hornady 45cal SST sabots and are suppose to be a 40cal bullet at .400. I just ordered 3 boxes of them so I hope so

You just answered your own question by citing the .400 diameter.

I was just wanting to make sure cause these are gonna be used in a Wildcat caliber that has to be .400 size bullets or they won't work. And it ain't no muzzleloader.
