boondockerWe are fortunate as we can pick it up from a local distributor for 11.00 a pound in 25 pound case mim. The local shops in NE PA average 16 to 18 roughly. If you can get some guys to go together on a case, hazmat and shipping is the way to go usually. Boon

Idaho Sharpshooterthanks, I was given three cases by a friend who is getting away from BP guns. Two cases of 3f and one of 2f and half a case of priming powder.
What a windfall.

a.tinkererWow!
Congratulations Sharpshooter.
Have a good time burning it, you know it won't go bad on it's own.
Perhaps it's time to dust off your five dram rifle and a few pounds of lead.
Cheers

filmitI had a can of GOEX kicking around for about 15 years. Last year I decided to tape it to a steel target at 400 yards and shoot it with a 50bmg bluetip incindiary. BOOM!

Idaho SharpshooterYou would love the Dynamite Shoot outside of Helena, MT. Dan Lilja (Lilja Barrels) puts it on with the gun club up there. They use about half a stick of 40% inside old powder cans and hang them from chain on an upside down L-shaped piece of rebar. Unmarked distances, from 300yds to 1000. Sit down at the bench and cut yer dogs loose! Hits are easy to score.
