Mag-Spark
I just installed the Mag-Spark nipples on my Hawken, and my Kodiak Double. These slick little adapters screw in like a nipple and have a cap that screws off easily and takes a 209 primer. They are weatherproof, and have had a positive effect on the accuracy of both my rifles. I would reccommend them for anyone with sidelock ignition problems. They can be ordered from

Just thought I'd share this info.

I've been using them for several years.

Question: How did you get them installed on your Kodiak? They won't fit the nipple seat depressions on mine (a .54)??

Mine is a .50 cal, and they fit just fine. Just screwed 'em in, and away I went.
