Yes I screwed up. Won't let it happen again (I hope.) Fortunately, no harm no foul.

Last December when I finished deer hunting for the year I left a load of Hodgdon 777 and a 460 grain bullet loaded. No cap on the nipple but loaded non-the-less.

Discovered it today and took it out to clear it. Cap the nipple, aim, fire and it goes boom like it was loaded yesterday.

Pulled it down and no ringing or anything else can be found after cleaning.

Obviously not the way to store a ML but I dodged the bullet on this one. Pun intended.
