hunter966Which muzzleloader?
I am ready to get a new black powder gun and would like to see what anyone thinks about these.
I am thinking about a TC Encore or a Knight in .50 cal. with a SS bbl. and either black composite or a camo stock.
Has anyone had any experience with these, what about accuracy, reliability, warranty and what ever else is good or bad.
Thanks

small fishI have both,an Encore and a Knight. I use the Knight as a backup gun. The Encore is my "go to gun". I would look into the Encore in stainless 50 cal for sure.

x-caliberI don't have any experience with the Knight brand, but I do have experience with the Encore and Omega. My advice would be to buy an Omega unless you want the feature of interchangeable barrels that the Encore provides. If you are planning on using the Encore as a muzzleloader only, the Omega will be just as accurate, just as easy to clean, and will be a lot cheaper!

small fishThe trigger on the Omega is not nearly as good,or adjustable as the Encore. The Encore is a very well thought out design.
