A friend of mine picked up an old 43 Egyptian rifle and wants some help with some black powder loads or low pressure smokeless loads. I would appreciate any suggestions that might be out there.

Call these guys Buffalo Arms

Don't bother with their online catalog - at least - if what you want isn't there, call anyway. Their online stuff is limited compared to their actually catalog.

But talk to these guys. They know what your bud needs to know. Also check out the Shooters.com black powder cartridge board. This issue has come up in the past.
