Loading 209 primers in Knight FPJ's
Ive got a Knight Disc Elite that I havent had a chance to fire yet. Ive seen they make a tool for putting the primers in the plastic jackets, but Im wondering if its worth the $8 they want for it or is it just another unneeded gimmick?
Ive got about 6 weeks to get ready for our BP season so Ill be shooting it sometime soon.

Buy it, it is well worth the $8.00.

I'm sure it works great.....But I put the primer on a scrap piece of 2x4 and push the plastic jacket down onto the primer useing a quarter to give your thumb a bigger bearing surface so you don't get a sore spot. You will love your Elite!!! I love mine!!!

I find the Knight primer loader more useful for getting the primer out of the jacket. I turn the jacket over and insert it into the tool upside down and use either the hex wrench or a small phillips screwdriver to push the primer out. Since I upgraded to the new "domed" breech plug, there is no blowback at all and the red plastic jackets look to be reusable indefinitely.
