gotcha, thanks. I'll take under advisement. I may return to cabelas for a TC. Or, use powder, which I feel is most likely better anyhow, and find the right load.
I've handloaded smokeless for years

I see absolutely no advantage to pellets other than they are much easier to manipulate. This however, is of significant advantage when hunting. Even having to pour premeasured loose powder from a plastic or paper "cartridge" is a little more difficult, especially in very windy conditions.



That said, I have always used loose powder because my most accurate loads most often occur with some odd volume, like 65 grains, 110 grains, etc.
