If I am fortunate to draw the tag, I will be hunting whitetail in the late muzzleloader season in Iowa this year. I have done so in the past and have driven to Iowa. I want to fly this time.
Does anyone have experience traveling to hunt with blackpowder and the airline regualtions. I will be using "777" powder for the hunt but can you take it with you in checked luggage. I guess the question is the same with the primers?

I am pretty sure you cannot take BP on an airline. I don't know about T7. But I'd plan to purchase both powder and caps at your destination, and leave them there when you fly home!
