UnderclockedCast bullet shoot out
Ed Mehlig, a fellow White owner and message board friend, is conducting a test of my cast bullets alongside some from Bob Bowers, another of my message board friends. Ed is in Pennsylvania, Bob is in Virginia, and I'm in Missouri.
The difference in the weights of these bullets is less than indicated, mine average ~425 grains and Bob's more in the 440 grain area.
Bob got his casting equipment just this past Christmas after his wife consulted me via email about suggesting gifts. As you can see, he's picking it up pretty quick and is already teaching me a thing or two.
Bob's handle is T-bolt and of course......

The DaneAlox and BP don't mix in the long run! Residue is tar like. Go for some sort of tallow, oil/beeswax mix.

UnderclockedYep, Ed seemed to have a lot of difficulty with that Alox/alcohol lube.

The top right group is ~1/4" maximum since those squares are 1/2" per side.
