I made a mistake on my previous post about Hornady Leverevolution three hundred twenty five grain bullet. Velocity is 2150 fps instead of 2050 fps. That's awesome for a factory bullet. I'm getting really tight groups at 100 yards. Bullet holes actually touching. Can't wait to try on a deer.

Is your barrel 1in20 twist ?

I've taken 4 deer with my 45/70 Uberti this season. All neck shots at 60 to 70 yards. I'm very satisfied with the performance of the Hornady 325 grains Lever Evolution bullet.
