Ruger No.1-B same barrel profile as No.1-S?

Any of you folks know this one? I'm wanting to know if I can swap quarter ribs/scope bases...

I'd call Brownell's on this. as they list the rib in their Ruger No. 1 parts lists, and there seem to be several sizes....

I think the #1B has a slightly heavier profile bbl. In the original catalog I believe there was something like 1/4# diff. A buddy of mine has a #1B & it weighs 1/2# more than my #1S.
