Does any one have experience with the guns sold by Taylor. Are they Uberti or Pedersoli or lowest bidder?

Opinions? Is there good reason to buy an unknown source gun vs. a brand name/know replica?

From the looks of the parts that are available on their site, I would imagine that the high and low walls are Ubertis.

I was eyeballing the Low Wall. I dont see those on the Uberti site. You think that is a Uberti? What I mean to ask: "Is or was that offered under the Uberti name"?

Appears Browning no longer offers a low wall. They made a 22 Hornet a while back, seemed like might be cute gun. Maybe it will re appear as a Winchester?

I would use a scope for small game (edable small game / varmints), so real tradition details like steel butt not really going to fit in with use of a modern scope.

I stopped at Taylors booth at the 09 Shot Show. Their products look like good quality. Fit and finish was good with a traditional look. I would love to have a traditional low wall with a tang on the action for a tang sight. 22 Hornet or maybe a Donaldson Wasp. DW
