asdfThe site indicates this is not a slavish replica of the Borchardt, but it looks to still use screw-in cocking plates, which I find surprising. In my mind's eye, I've tried to imagine how I'd produce the Borchardt action today, and I'd want to EDM the cocking cams into the breech sides. Even Borchardt, in his patent, suggested that with the machinery of the 1800's, it might be possible to machine the cocking cams in place.
His 1875 is intriguing. I hope he uses an improved firing pin.

Idaho Sharpshooterasdf,
looks more like the 1878 "Borchardt" that the 1875, which has an external hammer...as made by C Sharps arms today.

BrentIdaho,
the guy makes both the 78 and the 75 - and notably the 77 as well. I'd love to have any of them except the 75. Never liked that action.
BTW, an email from the maker suggests that a takedown verison of the Borchardt will be available in about a year. For those that need multiple calibers...
