280 Ruger # 1, where?

Anyone know where I might find a #1 in 280? If not anyone know of one for sale cheep to be rebarreled?

Nice and knowledgable coice of cartridge. I have a take off barrel in .280 Rem from a No.1-B that I won't be using (wife decided she wanted to go with the smaller No.1-RSI instead). Your price would be $70 shipped if interested.

Sorry I can't help you with getting the rifle but I'll confirm you are making the right choice. I've been hunting with a Ruger #1B in .280 for years and it's a super combination. Moderate recoil, very accurate, and (with the 26" barrel) plenty of power and reach.
