nordrsetaThat's a very sensible looking rig. How's the trigger? Please keep us posted.

richjI finally got to the indoor range to shoot the 270. Not a snag. The range is only 25yds and no benches. I bore sighted it and the first round went to poa so I'm happy. Shot a 1" knot so next stop is the 100yd range.
The trigger has a bit of spring to take up then lets off at about 3 lbs, I like it.

Rick RThe local Gander Mountain had one of these. It seems like a pretty nice rifle. I believe it was chambered in .270 and the price was about $550.
Please keep us updated as to how things develop.

Cliff LyleYour drawing has that "Stutzen" look going on. Does Knight make a model like this?

No they don't. That is my dream. I already have a 3x9 with a 6" eye relief. My smith likes the idea but there are things to work out yet.

Longwalkerwhat model scope has 6" eye relief? I could use more ER for a couple of rifles.

richjI found a 3-9x40mm bushnell. I know it's only a $75 scope but...
Bushnell Banner 3-9x40 Rifle Scope 6" Eye Relief Matte Multi-X 713947.
Picked it up locally from Adorama.
