CONTENDER or Other Single Shot barrel in 500 Smith Available??

Is anyone yet making barrels for the G2 Contender or other model Single shot frames?I may want to put something together that could also use all my 500 Smith ammo,but much faster due to the 16-20" barrel lenghts...May be a sweet lil hog gun!

The 500 S&W is too hot for the Contender frame. That cartridge is an Encore proposition only.

CARNE

MGM is currently making me a 30/40 krag barrel. Pressure in the factory 30/40 is in the 40 or 45,000 neighborhood. Another you might ask about is the 9.3x57 as that maybe the same pressure as the 30/40.

Hey Kid,

look for a TCR-83 or 87. I got a barrel in 30-378 if you want a good ground squirrel chambering.

TC makes a 20" barrel in 500 for the Encore.They also make that in 460.

H&R/NEF makes a 500 S&W rifle http://www.hr1871.com/Firearms/Rifles/youth.asp that sells for less than what T/C asks for an Encore barrel.
