Contender barrel/unknown maker
I have traded for a contender barrel in .223 that has only one marking on it, the caliber handstamped on the bottom of the lug.

It's a 22" tapered carbine barrel. It has one forearm mounting lug. No sights, only the four holes for scope mounting. I haven't measured the twist yet.

Shoots nice for a pencil barrel. Three shots will fall within an inch at a 100.

Any ideas from the description who may have made it?

The taper and stamping on the lug makes me think it's an early Ingram as he preferred to produce those light-weight barrels. I've had a couple of Ingram barrels, and they do shoot extremely well, but for me, I prefer and untapered configuration.

Oh, it shoots quite well. I also have a 20" Bullberry in .223 that is my main shooter now. I will probably have another lug cut for a hanger bar set up.
