Shell Ejection
My 375 H&H does not eject the empties completely free of the gun -- the clear the chamber, but stay on top of the rifle, is this correct? If so, is there a way to increase the ejection strength?

A ruger No. 1 -- sorry, should have mentioned it.

Aglifter.
Take off the forearm and tighten the ejector spring tension. Maybe your case hits the safety, in that case tilt the rifle when you open the chamber. Or get the safety ground off the top and refinished.

I don't know why the factory has never addressed this little problem. It is really annoying.

Assuming you are right handed, tilt the rifle slightly to the right ans you eject the round. You'll have to experimentr to se just how much for your rifle. That's how I handle the problem with mine.
