Winchester 1885 17 HMR, Seen one yet?
I am wondering about these new rifles. Have they started to hit the shelves yet? If you have seen one, what did you think? I am curious about the color case hardened parts and how they look. Can't wait to see one myself.

Hello,
Good question! A catalog is easier to print then it is to make the firearm. Example: I stopped at the Sportmans Warehouse store in Phoenix today to look at a Winchester M70 in .223WSSM. No luck! All they had was Brownings. They never have received any M70's in the new cartridges. Maybe gunsamerica.com has one for sale?

I was in a LGS the other day and inquired about the 1885 17HMR and the guy behind the counter said that they had one in and the day they put it on the shelf someone bought it. [Frown]

I guess that I will need to get some money down on one somewhere just to get a look at one.
