I am searching for a set of scope ring bases for a Ruger #3.

My first choice would the Weaver Grand Slam (steel) bases (#85 and #86).

Second choices are the Ruger factory bases or Redfield (rotary dovetail front, standard rear)

Does Talley make bases for the #3?

Any leads on where to find what I am looking for?

Any other brands I should be looking at?

(Aluminum Weaver bases are readily available but I hope to find a set of steel bases)

Have you tried Brownell's? I too prefer the steel bases. I used the Ruger bases on my #3. They work perfectly.

No luck on find the steel Weaver bases yet
