Turdy Point BuckEncore Trigger Job
My Encore trigger is too stiff. I don't know how many pounds it is set at but it is much heavier than my factory Remington trigger. Has anybody done a trigger job on their Encore? How hard is it to do? How about returning it to the factory for a trigger job? Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance.

butchlocI don't have the link, but on predatormasters.com about a month ago there was several posts on this. anyway they refered back to a guy who had spring kits etc. for encores to knock off the trigger weight. he also did the job for you for I think about $80

max(hm2)mike bellm has a web sight. he sells encore aftermarket springs. he also provides instructions. it isn't hard to do as the trick is in getting the proper springs. if you are picky get three springs, one at the weight you want , one below and the one above. the different tolerances will alter the specified weight. if you just want better, get the one weight you want and you will be close. most of the ones i do i set at 2.5 to 3 pounds.
