Does anyone know of a nice clean original Win. 1885 highwall for sale? I am also looking for a Browning 1885 in 38-55. Thanks.

If you haven't done so already, check out " Gun List"; they usually will have such items. Good luck in your search.

"Quinlan's Collector Arms" usually has them listed for sale in the Single Shot Exchange. Don't know if there is a website but Quinlan is located in Plumsteadville, Pa., Phone # (215) 766-3403.

I meant to tell you, I did call Gary. He was out of the models I was looking for.
I do appreciate the info.
Thanks.

The Cabelas in Owatonna has a nice Browning in 38-55, new no box. Know 'cuz I traded it in to them a few weeks ago. Can't tell you the exact value they placed on it because several guns were involved on both sides.

Give them a call and talk to Bill Taylor. He's the manager of the Gun Library there and the only one I'll do business with.

Good Luck...Mike
