WTB: Dead or alive!! Old Weaver Quick Point
If anyone out there has an old rifle model Weaver Quick Point, working or not, I am in need of the lower (mounting) half and am interested in buying one. I have an as new shotgun model and need the site to set up my newest project gun, a short range coyote rifle. I am building up a NEF/H&R .22 Mag , 20 in barrel, synthetic stock, stor-arm forearm for small varmits and coyotes. Use to be limited to 50-75 yards. The sight I am looking for uses no batteries and should be model R-1 or R-22, about 20 years old, black in color. I am planning to join the base of the R-1/R-22 with the upper half of the as new shotgun site. I would really appreciate any and all help or leads in locating this site...Thanks....<><....

Thanks for the info, I bought the Weaver Quick Point I have from SWFA for a good price, the sights are about 18-20 years old and were not to expensive to begin with. The shipping cost from SWFA was more than the sight!!. The only problem was although the box clearly stated "Shotgun Sight" they advertised it as a rifle AND shotgun sight, not at all!! Anyway I will end up with the sight because it is not worth sending it back, it would cost more than the sight did. I am still looking for a working "Weaver Quick Point" rifle sight (black, uses no batteries, Model R-1 or R-22) or a Weaver Quick Point (rifle model) even if not working. I need the lower half of a rifle sight to mate to the top half of my "as new" shotgun sight to set up my newest project gun, a .22 Mag short range varmit and coyote gun for 50-75 yard shots in the Maine woods. I have been looking at e-bay but no luck, I hope that someone here has one to sell to me...<><....
