Ruger No 1 Stock Replacement

I would like to upgrade the stock on my 9.3x74R.

Who is recommended for excellent stock work on a Ruger No 1?

Ditto on Jim Kobe.
He has made shotgun and rifle stocks for me.
Was in his shop a month ago and saw more than a few stunning rifle stocks at he had made, finished and checkered.

Anyone who claims the 30-06 is ineffective has either not tried one, or is unwittingly commenting on their own marksmanship
