Hagn action has an extractor but Martin Hagn will make an ejector if you ask for it

Ruger #1's and Bradshaw falling blocks all have positive extractors, not ejectors. The Luxus Model 11 has extractors. Not sure about Searcy. Merkel KR-1 has extractors also.

The TCs do not have ejectors except for a relatively small number of barrels made a long time ago which are fairly rare and seldom seen on the market anymore.

The 1874 Sharps has both an ejector and an extractor.

What am I missing. I swear the No1 I owned had a spring loaded ejector. Thought you had the option to remove the spring and use it as an extractor. Confused

As usual just my $.02

You're right the No. 1 is an ejector system that can be changed to extractor. The Thompson Center is just an extractor system.

The #1 just requires adjusting a screw under the forearm, which regulates the spring tension on the extractor. It can be loosened to extract only, or tightened up to throw'em into the weeds.
