250 Rook
I was wandering around a pawn shop yesterday and came upon a Holland & Holland break action in 250.
Not in pristine shape but what an amazing feel to it; my first time to handle one and I was impressed.

I've had a 295/300 Rook in a side lever H&H since 1990 or so. It was made in 1887. Just a sweet handling little gun.

Did you buy it?
Holland rooks are generally very nice little rifles especially the hammerless ones.

No buy. A guy with a bologna income and rib-eye tastes; just has to look.

Any details on the location or more on the gun?
Does it look like this one?
