Built with the help of DPCD and Dennis Earl Smith. 2 great craftsmen to do business with.
Turnbull did the metal finish. I need to reinstall the Vaver adjustable peep sights.

Bill/OregonCongratulations Butch. Lovely wood and color case work. Hope you have many joyous hours afield with this rifle. I have corresponded with Dennis, and I have worked with Tom on several projects and can't say enough good things about him.
There is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn’t.

Thanks, really like the look it gives an antique firearm.

Dave, it is built on a 7X57 Rolling Block. Not home so I can't look up the model. It came with the small firing pin. The barrel is a Shilen.

I have purchased wood from Roger Vardy for many years. I have the best luck telling Roger what I am building and my price that I'm willing to pay.He asks a lot of questions about the rifle and I let him pick the wood.
