Bald GuyStevens Value
I am trying to help a friend determine the value of a rifle that belonged to his grandfather. It is a Stevens 22 short with a factory scope. The gun has a target type hooked butt, set triggers, wood and steel lever, lots of engraving and the metal, wood and bore are all in great shape. The serial # is 42--. I just had to go shoot it and it is a tack driver.
Any direction or help would be appricated.

Nomo4meThere's long been a very hot market for many classic stevens SS rifles. Post a pic here and we can help you determine which model it is and advise value.

Thanks for getting back to me. I am not up on posting photos but have a friend who I think can help. Give me a day or two to see what I can do.
Thanks
