Took the Fat Lady sheep hunting today...
...and it's getting pretty boring. All she does is kill everything you point her at Dead Right There.

About 9:15 opening morning we were on the mountain watching a bowl and a couple of saddles and this old boy snuck in uphill and behind us. When I first saw him he was skylined above and behind me at 60 yards, and about 20 yards from my partner:

7 years old, 152 1/8 B&C.

The Fat Lady is a #1 in 9,3x74R.

When she sings, it's over Wink

How many years did you have to apply to draw that tag?

Nice Ram.

17.

At the mandatory sheep school, I sat next to a guy who'd been applying for 34 years before he got drawn Eeker

34 holy crap! Talk about persistance.

17 is a good number.

My father has 8 sheep points in Wyoming and 11 moose points. He could draw a cow tag this year, but he wants a big bull moose before he goes to Valhalla.

Not sure how we are going to do either one, he can barely walk 100 yards, he is in so much pain.

Here's to persistance!
